Festivities have begun!

September marks the start of the festival season in India. It starts with Ganesh Chaturthi, continues with Navratri, Durga Puja, Diwali, and ends with Christmas!

Surely, for us at Wisdm, there’s one more big festival that we look forward to… Thanks Giving, because after that… There’s the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale!

Well, we’ll cover events that will be there in the future, and to cover all the happenings this past month, we have this edition of Wisdm Insider!

An inspiring achievement…✨

Jagruti Sawant from the HR team had her convocation last month. There she was felicitated by the Chief of Army Staff All Round Best Student Award 🏆

This event was held at the Army Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida, from where Jagruti has completed her post-graduation.

The award was presented to her by Major General Sumit Mehta VSM COS, Delhi Area. And entire the ceremony was covered by various media outlets.

Now, Jagruti, from her younger years, has been in an Army school and has been consistently doing well. But this award takes her into the league of inspirational teammates who have showcased rare qualities – dedication, discipline, and grit!

Congratulations Jagruti, from all of us at Wisdm!

Ganpati Bappa Morya!

The festival that fills our hearts with joy and the air with cheer… the veneration of Lord Ganesha! We have different people from Wisdm sharing their moments of celebration with us and a note by a Kokan native👇

The anticipation for Ganesh Chaturthi was palpable in every Kokan native, and I was no exception. Our journey to Lote Parshuram, Khed, Ratnagiri, was a test of endurance, lasting a gruelling fifteen to sixteen hours. While the initial five-six hours of traffic were challenging, the moment we entered the lush greenery of Kokan, it was all worth it. Gazing upon the enchanting eyes and innocent form of Bappa, we forgot all about our fatigue.
After two blissful days of celebrating Ganpati, it was time to return. Unfortunately, our twelve-to-fifteen-hour return journey was marred by traffic and delayed trains. This is a common struggle for Kokankars, but despite the hardships, we find ourselves eagerly looking forward to the next Ganesh Chaturthi, exclaiming,

“पुढच्या वर्षी लवकर येवा!!”

Valuable Lessons from a recent event!

One of the activities that was conducted as a part of the Values Event was around the importance of Context. In any kind of work context helps establish the clear goal, purpose, and expected behavior and outcomes.

There was this story-building game we played where each participant had to continue the story with only one sentence (written by the previous participant) as reference.

We came up with some hilarious stories, some of which, are being shared here.
